Course Memo
This course provides an overview of the variations in the development of children with special needs from ages birth through adolescence and the ensuing impact on families. Includes an introduction to historical and societal influences, laws relating to children with special needs, inclusion practices in school setting, and appropriate community resources. 3 units.
