Course Memo
This course introduces students to the methodological and theoretical questions involved in the practice of history. How do they locate and analyze source materials? What kinds of arguments do historians try to make? How is history produced? This course supports the foundational critical thinking skills students will need to engage in their other coursework, apprenticeship and capstone. 3 units.
